In order to beat MW2 true total number the game has to be multi platform and available world wide so none of the games listed qualify. The next most likely candidate will be MW3.

Halo Reach can top the 360-only launch, though I doubt it.

Nothing we currently know has a shot at Modern Warfare 2's overall launch. I'm almost sure CoD saw its peak in MW2, but if I'm wrong, MW3 has a chance.

The most likely to dethrone it is next gen's new big IP.

Halo: Reach, without a doubt.

Reach is the only one of those that really has a chance. But even thats a slim one. But it does have a decent chance to outsell MW2 360 only... Assuming M$ will market it like they should

Halo: Reach because nearly everybody who's buying it will buy it the first week, but I also thinks that GT5 will outsell Halo: Reach in it's lifetime. Ps3 games has longer legs.
And the next GTA also has the potential to have a bigger start than mw2. The gaming industry grows every day
