Doesn't anybody think that his "new platform" might be the Vitality Sensor? Or even another acessory, like the Wii Bazooka, for their new Halo killer Shooter, made by Myamoto? Ok, the first part is serious.
Above: still the best game of the year.

Well I guess a better title would have been "knowledgeable" as this kinda suggests they are helping to develop it haha. But I'm sure if Nintendo has something in the works that is past research stages and further along in development (or basically far along to show) major 3rd parties would know about it.

Hardly. Even if Nintendo did consider the VS a "new platform", the industry wouldn't give a shit about it and wouldn't be leaking rumors that make it sound really big.
A game I'm developing with some friends:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.
I would give the announcement a standing ovation if it turned out to be a Super Wii featuring all the great upcoming core games and a few from the past with at least 360 quality graphics combined with the decision from Nintendo to never again make a Wii Series game.
I think it is a Wii HD you know. I mean, Nintendo promised DSi-enhanced games and DSi-exclusive games eventually, because the graphical cabilities of DSi are better than DS - more processing power and double or triple the Ram, I think I read, along with much bigger game cards and SD support. And yes, I know, they don't necessarily have to stay true to their word, but considering we've seen no DSi-enhanced or exclusive titles at all to take advantage of that extra power, it seems like Nintendo won't replace DSi yet. After all, if they were going to do that, why give DSi extra power? They're a very conservative company.
Why not make Wii HD and couple that with the first DSi titles (like the recently leaked Pokemon 5, surely DSi- only as D/P were DS). Then the increasingly-ignored-because-it-isnt-HD Wii would be upgraded, and DS would get another big lift. In fact, it'd be like having two new consoles, DSi games and Wii HD alongside.
IMO only, I think it's the DS successor. It will be launched later this year in Japan along with it's launch titles, the 5th generation Pokemon Games.

Couldn't it be the camera thingy that's being released with UBI's fitness game?

In my opinion the N64 was not just the best console of the 5th gen but, to this day the best console ever created!
Well sure, Ubisoft has been dedicated to Nintendo and producing "Nintendo-like" games on Wii and DS. So it only makes sense that NO UBISOFT HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH THE RUMORED CONSOLE.
I don't understand why Ubisoft can't just go away to be honest.
How technical is your game?
