So... would you? And I mean a full-fledged DK title, none of that spinoff stuff like DK Konga or Jungle Beat (even though they were awesome, especially the latter). It's obvious the SNES DK Country games were brilliant, and DK64 was pretty great too, but seeing how those were created by Rare, we'll never see games quite like them again. Probably.

Still, I can't help but wonder what a ground-up DK Wii game could be like if Nintendo put the money and effort in it, (like they did with Galaxy and NSMBW). Either of the two (2D or 3D) would be absolutely fine by me, though I'd prefer a 3D one. The team that did Mario Galaxy also did DK Jungle Beat for the good ol' GameCube (and NPC Wii), which was awesome and looked great, so we know they've got the talent to do it. I'd love to see them try their hand on a mainline DK game.

It's been long enough anyway! Also, DK is a fairly well-known Nintendo character, having appeared in most Mario-spinoff titles such as Kart, Brawl, Party etc. I guess it could be successful, probably not as succesful as a Mario game, but then again, few other games could. At least it'd most likely see better sales than an F-Zero or Starfox title... They've got the IP, it's well-known, and it would probably have core as well as casual appeal.

Now, I'm not saying I think a DK game is in development. I'm just saying I'd really like to see Nintendo do one.

DK is part of the big 3 Nintendo core titles, being Mario, Zelda and Donkey Kong.

Metroid and Kirby are part of the top 5. I still don't understand how could Nintendo forget about one of its most popular franchises, it's been over a decade almost since the last main DK game. Every other game has been a spin-off which only left a sour taste on many fans.

Donkey Kong is so stupid... It should just disappear from now on.

As long as it's a new Donkey Kong Country, then hell yes! A new 3-D Donkey Kong platformer like DK64 would be cool too, but nothing beats the DKC series.

Another DK by Rare would be great but if it's not by Rare, I don't know if I want...

The old Rare is pratically dead, so... my final answer is: No more DK games.
