Considering the laziness of Polyphony Digital in the past years (sry if that offended some GT fans. Although I'm a GT fan myself...) I don't think GT6 will release any time soon, so GT5 might have a chance.
Nah I think it will be close but MW2 will sell more in the end.

 

EDIT: I didn't consider any possible bundles btw.

i think it will actually sell about the same,

when i look at the souces lists for games sold of the decade,it make sme think gt5 will sell around 7-9m

which is probably the same for MW2

...only like 200k were from that GT bundle in Japan and probablly like 50k in EU... thats less than 7% of total numbers... and most of the EU bundles would have been bought seperatly anyways

I think it'll be close, mainly because of MW2's huge opening. (Said opening will not be matched by GT5.) However, in the long term, I do think that GT5 will outsell MW2, probably by about 500K. There's still not a ton of simulation racing games on the market (I'd argue more that the kart market is starting to fill), so it will sell well. I also see GT5's legs being much better due to the lack of games in that category; another good shooter will make MW2 almost forgotten.

Every copy of Spec III was bundled in Japan, for free.  According to Famitsu...
