I agree. Overrated, but not too much. Just low it about 3 points.

What about the galaxies?
There are twice as more now, and most have 2-4 systems or clusters in them .
I think I only played 1 or two side missions by exploring other planets. MASSive, I tell you.
And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... My Fanboy Speech...
Why do you have to make excuses to defend a product that you purchased, but that's the only connection you have to it, you don't make it, you don't lose or gain money on it. I don't see where all of the defensiveness comes in, there is no reason for you or anybody else to feel obligated to defend it. Now I would understand if one of you were a developer for the product and you slaved over said product only to hear somebody call it stupid or a piece of junk. But none of you developed it, none of you are mature enough to realize that. Choosing a product all comes down to preference, you chose said product because it is best for you. Simple as that!
couldn't say. not really my type of game anyway but i've heard great things about it

They murder me since I can't leave any planet at a rich status...good thing I just got double pods...

No. You don't like planet scanning...don't do it, it's still a hell of alot better than landing on all of the planets and driving around to only find 3 materials. ME1 was linear as well, what WRPG isnt really? It's short really?! Wow...i'm over 28 hours...

I feel that Mass Effect 2 is a much better game than Uncharted 2. Yet they both got the same score (96) at Metacritic. The PC version of Mass Effect 2 got only 94. (The scores for Mass Effect 2 will most likely lower by one to 95 and 93 when all reviews come out.)
So, I could argue that Mass Effect is not overrated. It is underrated because it is better than but got the same score as Uncharted 2.
I really think the PC version should get at least the same score as Uncharted 2. It really should be higher. I supposed PC reviewers have a higher standard than PS3 reviewers.
Or maybe it's Uncharted 2 that's overrated at 96.
Personally, everything you dont seem to like. I like. So it's wierd. I'm glad the Mako is gone. I'm also glad of the scanning. ( I like FF card games so.... ) And the story isnt linear. It is just paced. Play through both games a few times, and you'll see very different ME2 story. The sunstance doesnt change. But what happens and how does.
Personally it's the first RPG on a computer to make me feel like I was Role Playing. Instead of stat reading.
