IMO....GOW3 wont even beat out KZ2 or U2 my prediction for graphics king of 2010 is as follows:

1.Heavy Rain

2.Alan Wake

3.SC:C

4.Uncharted 2

I remember when critics called Uncharted1 in-game screens bull shots and said PS3 hardware would never be able to render that.

I lol at those critics.

if your just looking at the detail of characters, i think it goes Heavy Rain, UC2, KZ2 or Mass Effect2 but theres no other games that tops Heavy Rain and UC 2. Alan Wake is nice! but but not good As those two!

Dont get me wrong it is very polished but it doesnt scream out "best graphics EVAR!!" to me......i dunno maybe it because Ive played all the GOW and they were all technically impressive that GOW3 doesnt seem that much of a leap.

The same thing happened with me between halo 2 and 3.....halo 2  had some best graphics seen last gen while halo 3 didnt have this quality for me.

To top Uncharted 2 (platform only) they would need solid 30FPS, no screen tearing, no aliasing issues and 720P output.

some animations dont look thta great, but the enviroments and the characters look really good.

Where's Crysis 2 on this list, J Man?

Well whenever I watch footage of Heavy Rain, I see some good things in it, some that are better than Uncharted 2, but I also see some bad things in it (same thing I always saw with Killzone 2). It's despite looking good in certain areas, it doesn't look good in all areas. One of the things games like Uncharted 2 prides itself in, is being able to be well polished in all areas. So polished, that the world seems seamless rather than interlocking parts. There are very few games I've seen to have amazing polish, Super Mario Galaxy, Uncharted 2, Crysis, and Okami are a few though. Just takes expertise in development.

So still obviously haven't seen the actual game running on a big screen, but I don't think it'll be able to take the realism crown from Uncharted 2, and obviously not from Crysis. But it is an intriguing different kind of game that will be a refreshing playthrough for many.
