Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Will The Grinder ber the first Wii-sourced, HD second multiplatform game?

It's listed as the Wii version. And claiming your eyes can tell is the real resumption.

Ha! You're telling me that it's presumptive to suggest that when you see much much better graphics than anything done on Wii, especially what we've seen of The Grinder and other HVS games on Wii, that it is not Wii graphics. Come on man, there is a real limit to what people can get out of the Wii graphics-wise, and that's clearly above it. It's not Wii graphics, the Wii game will look worse. IGN would have put that title on the video, it says nothing about Wii in the actual trailer, so what they have it listed as does not prove that it's Wii in-game graphics.

A game I'm developing with some friends:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.

This video is the Wii version, and I just said that I think that some scenes are pre-rendered, not all video.

Sengoku Barasa 3 is the 1st...Wii is the lead console for it

No, the Wii version is entirely different to the HD versions. I am not even sure if the Wii was the lead platform out of the PS2/Wii versions.

The HD versions are better too

Is anyone actually even a little bit interested in playing that game on HD console? From what I saw at E3 and eventually laters, it looks completly lame, even worse than Conduit. I have no faith in HVS delivering quality product, as they just doesn't seem to have a talent.

MY HYPE LIST: 1) Gran Turismo 5; 2) Civilization V; 3) Starcraft II; 4) The Last Guardian; 5) Metal Gear Solid: Rising

Depends. While there are more and longer day levels, the same holds true for the Werehog sections. Also, I think you actually have to walk through towns to find the people you have to talk to in the HD versions. Some people might prefer clicking through the menus in the SD versions. It's really up to personal taste.

I S ranked all day levels on the 360 version, and i even tolerated some werehog parts as well. The towns were fun actually.

If you actualy looked at the full size video you would see the polygon count and textur resolution are at levels the Wii can do. Did you just base it on the smaller videos?

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

meh too many great games coming out this year anyway and 2011 is along way off by then we probably won't even care anymore about this game.

Conduit was a letdown the revised Gladiator game looks awful,Grinder will most likely end up as another mediocre game anyway.

This.

We gave High Voltage a chance and if they are going to just port Grinder over to 360 and PS3 even  though they already have Left 4 Dead, there is no reason Wii fans should support HVS.

I thought it was because they were putting actual effort on the Wii, not exclusive effort. The latter attitude is just as bad as those who want third parties to completely abandon the Wii.

Don't really care that it went multiplatform as long as the wii version is as good as the HD versions. Hopefully its not a let down like The Conduit or a glitch fest (which won't be a problem on the other consoles since they can patch it)
