This thread is about the specific question in the title, rather than the announcement specifically. So the game is now multiplatform, but the trailer linked shows it's looking great on the Wii. So will the Wii be the source game, and the HD games merely graphical upgrades?

And No More Heroes Paradise is a remake, so it's not the first, just in case anyone was going to bring that up.

So rather than complain about how HVS now sucks, I'm looking at them possibly doing what developers should have been doing (both for supporting the top system and in terms of development cost).

I just wonder if that is the case here.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

Mutliplatform is not a port. Being after the fact or at the same time changes the design approach. Do not confuse the two.
