Currently Firefox 3.5.... but I am considering changing to Opera because of this shitty memory leak.

Firefox no longer closes properly for me and stays running in the background until I shutdown and Windows closes it for me, or I have to use the task manager to end the process.

Internet Explorer 4Life.

Chrome FTW !

Firefox of course.

Maybe you should upgrade to 3.6? I don't know if it fixes it, but it should be worth a shot if you want to keep using FF.

Firefox.

firefox. I like chrome but adobe flash player keeps crashing in my chrome for some reason I cant identfy. I'm surprised at the low number of IE users.

What about uninstalling and re-installing Firefox.  If you have already tried that, try running the file and registry cleaner using CCleaner after uninstalling, but before re-installing Firefox.

If Firefox still does not work after that, it is logical to conclude it is your installation of Windows, not Firefox that is the problem.

Firefox. Always.

There are loads of people with the same problem. I am going to try FF3.6 and see what happens.
