Not a slur to FF12 but do people think that if WKC was called Final Fantasy, the scores would be a bit better than they are right now? I kinda think yes.
PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

I Believe so. which as some of you should understand my critic crusade against XIII.
I'm holding reservations against ff13 until I get first hand experience. Not sure why but I think something is off from both camps (i.e haters and fans)

Not really, an FF game would never have a weak story like that & ergh WKC just isn't of FF calibre, that is clear from all trailers & impressions we got
The key fact here is that users in Japan didn't think much of WKC either.
If WKC was called Final Fantasy I could betcha it might have gotten even lower scores due to being so hyped (which it would have been if it was called FF15) & a big disappointment after that.
Hmm I guess this is the worst part about all of this, we will never know, we just have to judge for ourselves. I hope those who buy at launch enjoy it and those who opt to buy on budget like it. I think this is one of those "time will tell" games.

I have to agree with you here. As for my interest, it reduced significantly but it is not completely gone because the premise is cool and the sequel has the potential to be sometime special. This looks like a renter at this point but I probably will wait a while to even bother.
Believe me fu** the reviews i love it, the graphics, the atmosphere its great, the gameplay its simple and deep (simple if u play rpgs). If u like jrpgs buy it right now, if u so so rpg gamer try to rent it or see a lot o videos, but dont screw the game just because of specialist journalist say about it, please ppl we have brain, and everyone think diferent maybe u love it like me if u take the chance to play it!!!

Why because one JRPG got a bad score?
I love Level-5's style, so this does not put me off in the slightest.
