it got a similar reception in Japan looking at amazon user reviews & famitsu scores + general impressions.

Most people shouldn't be surprised at all.

Did you not read a single word I wrote?   I said hoped it would be.   All of these bad review scores are showing its not a good game, despite some people hoping it would be.

Bioshock was a top notch shooter and it proved that a shooter game does not need to have an online mode to be a good/popular game. Bioshock 2 introduces an online mode into Bioshock. This will be interesting.

Bioshock 2 receives a perfect score. 100%

Heavy Rain- another perfect score. 100%

WKC- the reviewer did not like the game. 60%
