Below are the top ten launch weeks for each console for the current generation.  With all the big titles coming up, i thought it would be interesting to list the best launches and see how they change over the next few months.

I see at least these making the top 10...

X360: GoW2, new Banjo

PS3: LBP, Resistance2

Wii:...dunno...I'll get back to you on that...

edit: now the Wii too many to choose from...I'll pick Wii music and (as an outside) the new Crash Bandicoot just from  September.

 

further edit: OH SHI- I forgot Fable 2. scrap Banjo (but i do love that series :( )

360: Gears 2

PS3: Resistance 2, LBP could sell more than 300k first week.

Wii: Wii Music or AC could do 300k first week.

Yeah Gears 2 will be huge and make the list, Fable 2 might,
Resistance 2 I see selling 500k first week



PS3, WII and 360 all great systems depends on what type of console player you are.

Currently playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, Fallout 3, Halo ODST and Dragon Age Origins is next game

GoW2 has a great chance to beat COD4 to take 3rd and I would think Fable 2 would break into top 10.

Anyone notice that 360 top 3 total is roughly equal to Wii top 4 which is more than the whole PS3 10? For Sony's sake, LBP and Res 2 better be somewhere up there come Xmas (and obviously most likely will be).

360: Gears 2 (probably on Nr.3), Fable 2 and maybe Fallout 3
(I have no idea about Banjo, but I don't think it has a chance to sell more than 600,000 copies the first week)

PS3: LBP, Resistance 2 and most likely PES 2009 and Motorstorm:Pacific Rift

CoD World at War is also a possibillity for both consoles

Wii: To be honest. I don't care
