X360 was my last due to a combination of factors, mainly RROD and Kinect. But I only mained Xbox for like two years (PS3 was too expensive with a disappointing start).

I have said this a few times now. But I had 2 separate XBOX 360s, they both broke within 2 years. My phat PS3 wasn't far behind at 5 years. I certainly wasn't migrating to Wii U, so really the only option was PC.

When I quit Nintendo I will be Nintendone.
I've had the Xbox360 to accompany my Wii for the 'serious games'. My first Xbox console. Really liked it till I got the Red Ring of Death. It dented my trust in the Brand.
Skipped the Wii U and when the Xbox1 came out, I decided to wait at least 3 years so any potential problems would be fixed before I would get it. It turned out to be a more robust console, but there where not enough games released on it that I liked. And I did not buy into the gamepass idea.
So I bought a PS4 to accompany my Switch for the 'serious games' instead. A shame really, because I prefer the Xbox controller to the PlayStation one by a mile.
I think people underestimate X360's role in damaging the brand.
X360 and PS3 contrast each other in interesting ways. When you look at them in isolation, X360 was slightly more successful. When looked at in a Gen 6 context, X360 was waaay more successful. But PS3's strong 2nd half as opposed to an increased focus on Kinect would snowball the brands into what they are today.
Microsoft's high confidence in Xbox One and Kinect should be studied. They acted as if X360 was their PS2 in mindshare and nothing could stop them anymore (even if X360 was the PS2 of its gen, they should have learned a thing or two from the PS3 mess which almost got the Playstation brand killed).

Xbox One is the latest one I have; I considered getting a Series for years, but once they started porting their games elsewhere, the console felt kinda pointless, so I lost interest.
Who knows, if Gears E-Day and others do stay on it, maybe I'll pick one up in like 2030 preowned.
