Forums - Gaming - Capcom Q1 FY2026 Best Selling Games

[Original Source.] Wasn’t planning on making a thread on this, but seeing as nobody has brought it up…

Very strong debut for Pragmata. RERequiem also looks to have some solid legs.

Well deserved success for RE Requiem and Pragmata, both are fantastic games.

DMC5 also likely got a decent boost from the Switch 2 port in June.

Monster Hunter Wilds not being on the list though is a really bad sign, it's legs have been terrible and that Switch 2 port can't come soon enough.

Monster Hunter Wilds getting destroyed by World and Rise is funny. But it seems like Capcom have conditioned many of their fans, particularly on PC, to buy their games dirt cheap. They're almost like CD Projekt Red these days when it comes to discounts. I'd like to know how much their games are generating.

Even the mediocre RE3R sells well due to heavy and frequent discounts. Personally I don't understand the Capcom craze. Their quality while significantly improved over their gen 7 era, doesn't match older eras imo. But I respect their productivity.

Capcom is one of the companies I never buy day one. Along with MS and Ubisoft. Those companies discount aggressively and reliably for every single game. For the RE games you can reliably save 50% by waiting to Black Friday for the ones that release in January-May.

Same for me. Only reason I played RE Requiem near launch was because Ryuu gifted me the game. Capcom is having a big sale right now on Steam and a lot of the RE games are 75% or 80% off.

Well for Microsoft I use Game Pass to play them day one. I had Ultimate maxed out at 3 years using MS Rewards when it was 12K MS Points to get 1 month. That is no longer an option and requires WAY more points. I will likely change to PC Game Pass once it runs out.

The sales of RE4R and RE2R are spectacular! I mean they both are fantastic but I didn't know they were still selling that much.

Signature goes here!

Pragmata is my favourite game of the year. Game was amazing, with one of the most stunning set piece fights this gen.

Ride The Chariot | ‘26 Completed

RE is currently my favorite game series, its one of a few series that all mainline titles are really good to outstanding in quality.

I haven't picked up Requiem yet, maybe Black Friday. I always enjoy a good RE game.
