For those who use it, what do you consider the best use of mouse mode in a Switch 2 game to date, and why?

Around the Network

I haven’t used it all too much, but hear me out… Welcome Tour. Say what you will about the price tag and/or quality of the game, this game is literally a showcase of the mouse control and all its functionalities.

And, hear me out again, DragXDrive. The game is utterly painful to play with how inconsistent the mouse are to control, but definitely the most creative implementation of the mouse controls to date.

Lastly: MP4Beyond and SMGalaxy1+2 feature very nice QoL enhancements with the mouse.

(Does the Switch 2 HOME Screen count? If so, that’s by far my favorite implementation. No joke lol.)

My older brother has a Switch 2 and we live together, so I can play on it because I share my eShop with him (because I have almost 100 Switch 1 games and he barely has any Switch 1 games on his eShop, just things like FIFA, NBA, and Football Manager). But I plan to buy a Switch 2 for myself when Fire Emblem is released.

Regarding the question, my older brother has few Switch 2 games (Cyberpunk 2077, Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami 1 and 2, Pokémon Legends Z/A, Metroid Prime 4, Resident Evil 7, 8 and Requiem). I tested the mouse mode in Cyberpunk and Metroid and it's surprisingly good, so I don't know what the experience is like with other games. My brother will buy Assassin's Creed Shadows and Pragmata this month, so maybe I'll test those too.
