Will NS3 outsell the Wii U

Absolutely not! 2 40.00%

Yes but it’ll be very close… 3 60.00%

Alright, no more of the “April Fools” nonsense. What are you thinking for NS3 LTD?

Me personally, I’m expecting 35mil LTD. Following the Great Video Game Crash of 2034, video game consoles will no longer be an affordable commodity: Launch MSRP of $3,000USD & $150USD per game.

I predict AI will have ruined most of what we love about the industry by then, and an all-digital reality will have obliterated the sliver that's left. In any event, I won't be a part of it. I've been gaming since pretty much the start of the industry, but it looks like my ship is about to sail. Thankfully I took the time to buy up most of the consoles up to this point, so I'll always have something to play until the end of my days. My heart breaks for the kids, though. It's going to get bleak.

Well this was a much heavier response than I was expecting on April Fools Day thread… but I do appreciate the thoughtful response.

TBH I’m not too worried sbout the future of the industry. So long as good games are being made, people will find a way to afford. Especially those in the upper echelons of wealth.

My apologies. I didn't know that was the intention of the thread. I suppose I should have, given the light tone. Stupid me.

Oh no! Don’t worry about it at all. I could’ve 100% been more clear TBH. You’re all good dude.

Never be a Switch 3. SEGA will have made Dreamcast 2 by then. Everyone will bow down to the return of the GOAT. It will launch with the greatest launch game of all time. VanQuish 2.
