For me? Protein parfait and protein salad. Specifically…

> Protein Parfait

  • Oats (1/3 cup)
  • Berries (1 1/2 cups)
  • Protein powder (one scoop, 110Cal)
  • Unsweetened soy milk (1/2 cup)
  • Non-fat Greek yogurt (1/2 cup)

> Protein Salad

  • Spinach (1/2 cup) - 5Cal
  • Garden salad (1.5 cup) - 25Cal
  • Dressing (1/4 cup) - 20Cal
  • Chickpeas (1/2 cup) - 135Cal [could mix it up with Lentils OR black beans OR lima beans OR chicken/turkey/shrimp/tofu]
  • Grape Tomatoes (7x) - <10Cal
  • Hard-boiled OR Sunny-Side Up egg - 60Cal
  • tortilla OR sprouted bread - 60Cal

This is brunch for me. The berries are very good b/c they boost cognitive function, and the protein and fiber gets me through the whole day without ever being hungry. No added sugar (my body doesn’t digest added sugar all too well), and I avoid anything processed (as much as I can) and saturated fats. Also, sodium screws up my brain.

mmmm, bfast is usually something like 6 eggs plus a couple of hamburger patties, and then i eat raw veggies + fruit + protein powder for the rest of the day.

Bfast is about 900 calories- the paddies have 190 cals each (380 total), eggs have about 60 each ( 360 there) plus another 100-150 in olive oil. The only thing that i eliminate is cooked veggies, and starches

Coffee with milk. Lunch is usually too massive to eat a big breakfast.

Scrambled eggs on buttered toast.



4 slices of buttered bread with cheese or cold cuts. A a big cup of coffee black and 1 cigarette.

On Sunday's when I sleep in, usually a late breakfast with fried eggs on buttered bread with ham and some pickles (Strammer Max). 2 large coffee black and 2 cigarettes.

It looked like you ate pretty healthy from your description.  Ever done any restrictive diets? like vegan/fasting/carnivore or whatever?



Normally don't, I have a cup of tea.

Coffee and a banana every day paired with either oatmeal one day, or two scrambled eggs on toast the next day. I'll whip up some pancakes on the weekend if I'm going to run more than 10 miles that day.
