Metal Gear Solid 3 wins this poll :)

There's a good chance that of my opinion changing to Death Stranding once more time has passed, but for now, I'll go with Metal Gear Solid 2. Why? Because when it was released, it was way ahead of its time, and it's still very relevant and spot-on with some of its themes. Death Stranding has similar potential but of these two, only MGS2 is time-proven so far. As for Kojima's other games, as good as they are, they're not that relevant and have never been.

I also happen to like my two top contenders very much for other reasons as well, but relevance is what pushes them on top.

Metal Gear Solid 3 was the Pinnacle. What gaming had been building towards. Crazy that I kinda wasn't hyped for it and only bought it out of some kind of blind obligation to the series.

Metal Gear Solid 2, i love so many characters (Snake, Otacon, Raiden, Vamp, Solidus Snake, Ocelot, ect)

And the Story was really incredible - Far ahead of its time.

Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater is the only proper Kojima game I've played, and even then it pales in comparison to Metal Gear Rising Revengeance.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

MGS4 for me. It had enough stuff to keep me going for hours on end.

Game had a load of throwbacks to the previous titles in the series, as well as tying up some loose ends. That and I really loved the Gekko/Frog designs, as well as the OST and the camo suit.

Step right up come on in, feel the buzz in your veins, I'm like an chemical electrical right into your brain and I'm the one who killed the Radio, soon you'll all see

So pay up motherfuckers you belong to "V"

3 games

Zone of the Enders 2
Policenauts
Snatcher

I still think Snatcher is his best work. Sure it's aping off Blade Runner but that's a hellva thing to ape off of. Not to mention the music and that sax. Every single MGS fan is nostalgic for Policenauts even if they do not know it. The theme is played at the very opening of the game when the Konami logo appears.

Also Mercury Steam did Lords of Shadow. Kojima was a producer for name credit but didn't really do anything. That game was all MS.

Bite my shiny metal cockpit!

Snake Eater for me, with Peace Walker trailing it in a really close second.

It took me a couple of playthroughs to really get into the story (renting it from Blockbuster didn't help) and appreciate it, but once I did I was wowed with the level of detail and care put into this game. One of my top 3 games of all time.

Snake Eater, easily. It was the pinnacle of Metal Gear. Great OST too.

I tend to go back and forth between MGS1 and MGS3, but those are my top 2 games from Kojima.

I think MGS1 had better characters and Shadow Moses (along with its music) is to date the most atmospheric location in the series.
While MGS3 has my favorite story (including codec conversations with Para Medic) and better gameplay.

interesting opinion :) The Para Medic Conversations was really funny : D She died later... thanks Gray Fox ^^

The Jungle in Metal Gear Solid 3 is so wonderful.
