Pretty great for the Switch, managing to break the 2M line.

XBO within expectations. I did not expect the PS4 to drop off even more than the XBO this holiday season. It's really just Europe that keeps the PS4 really alive by now.

Wasn't PS4 had a $249 deal + 3 games for a whole December?

The Nintendo Switch sets a new record for this generation console in the US for December and yearly sales!

Our USA sales through January 2018 are now (2 weeks beyond what NPD has): 

PS4: 32,305,181

X1: 27,622,649

NS: 17,243,596

I meant what numbers did vgc show for december before this leak.

It's easy to set a record for the generation when you're alone in that generation.

Even if you include PS4 and Xbox One none of them had a better December than the Switch. In fact the Switch's last year's December already set a record for the generation (if you include the PS4 and Xbox One).
