Forums - Sony Discussion - Death Stranding soundtrack is absolutely freaking AMAZING (link inside)

I'm really impressed by it! it's like a mix between Blade Runner 1982/2049, Mass Effect games and those synth sci fi soundtracks of the 80's. It's safe to say that sci fi fans won't be disappointed, it's also the kind of music that you can easily put rain/thunder effects with it and make it even more amazing. Also what i listened from it wasn't even the full soundtrack apparently so i can't wait for the full version of the music and to lose myself completely in the beautiful world of Death Stranding with this soundtrack when i get my hands on it, i mean the game .. LOOKS.. SO.. DAMN..GOOOOOD.

the wait is hard..

I dumno yet. I'll have to listen to it matched with the game scenes, the Trailers sounded fucking great though. I hope I'm sucking Kojimas divk come the weekend and not shitting all over him. I really want this to be good yet my expectations are stiff.

You have a point but still the soundtrack is like heaven just click on the link and let it run in the background or something.

I've watched some non-spoiler reviews. Though one of them described how the 'connecting people' aspect worked in general with a few examples (but avoiding the more impressive/spoilery examples) and that part really has me intrigued.

The other review, along with Digital Foundry's tech review, described how traversal works. Also with a limited amount of examples. And this is the part I'm not sure if I'll like until I try it.
It sounds like it could be very interesting, and something I may like. But if I end up not liking it, then it could become a tedious thing I have to do 99% of the game.

Yeah i watched a couple myself including that excellent DF video and it really looks incredible i just want to get lost in that world and explore. I'm with you on that part about not being 100% sure if i will like it but i'm about 90% sure i will because it really seems that it's my kind of game one that it's so immersive and takes it time and with a lot of small details etc.. definitely not for people with short attention span xD

Now on topic.. listen to the wonderful soundtrack please it's sooo good.

Glad you like it, the game just begs to be played slowly with this music and to be immersed in.

thx for the link :) i hear all Soundtracks, if i play the game in the next months :) And i Love the Metal Gear Solid-Songs so much, the Soundtracks are fantastic too.

A Music-CD for Death Stranding is coming, by Kojima Productions. I want this!

"Ghost of Tsushima" and "The Last of Us 2" are impressive for me as Gamer, i love them =)

I had to pop an pain pill and lay down, decided to give this a listen. It was fucking transcendent.

Told ya 😁

I hope there's a musical performance at the Game Awards next month.

Crossing my fingers and hoping it's Low Roar's Don't Be So Serious.

Here's their soundtrack: https://youtu.be/jQe36x3p6VU?t=15
