Based on my previous topic you can this http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=239536&page=1#1

It seem it has been update and removed on PS4  version and US region only , i don't have any info on others version (PC, Xbox One or others region) because all version has been censored as well (but not as bad as PS4 version ) . So this topic is for the update .

"

As seen in the video at the bottom of the page (courtesy of Itachi Uchiha), patch 1.07 for Devil May Cry 5 on PS4 has now removed the light that initially covered up the brief partial nudity of Trish in the game’s cutscene following Mission 11. With this update, the PS4 version is now identical to that of the Xbox One and PC counterparts of DMC5 which never had this scene censored in the first place.

However, there is a rather strange caveat with this entire ordeal. According to multiple reports and footage that has been shared online, it seems that this patch has only removed the censorship in the scene for those on PS4 in the United States. For those in Europe, this scene in question still contains the same light that covers Trish’s backside. The reasons as to why this is the case (or why it was ever censored on only PS4 in the first place) haven’t been given by either Sony or Capcom. "

Either way I am glad it has been removed and it shouldn't there on the first place, now they need to get rid other stuff that being censored on Japanese niche games, because i do believe there is some  SJW in Sony that infiltrated their HQ.

We need more people to expose this by directly communicate with them using any available media such Twitter, Facebook, Gaming Media, Gaming Forum, Latter, E- Mail, pooling, or even directly go to their office.

No need to boycott or bad mouthing then as console wars debate fuel (mostly i found this debate and circle jacking this on Gematsu from Nintendo fan who fuel hating Sony while their motives is to bad mouthing Sony)

Either way i do agree censorship is bad but of course there is a way for a company to change to be great by learning with their mistakes, with this i believe we have reach Sony and Capcom. I do hope it will change and Sony will change for better.

Seems very odd that it's for US only... wonder what else is in the patch, otherwise EU players will be downloading... nothing?

The patch has one of the most beloved game modes from DMC4 in it, so no, they won't be downloading nothing.

Honestly, with how weird and strange this situation has been, it's hard to know for sure ... but I don't think this is on Sony. At all. There's really a lot more pointing to it being entirely on Capcom and there's so many oddities that I don't think it points to Sony.

-In the West, two scenes were censored on PS4, but one scene was censored on other platforms. The scenes both depict the same kind of material (a naked butt), and had this been a Sony demand, either no scenes would be censored on other platforms or all scenes would be censored on all platforms in the West to establish parity and create no backlash.

-The game is "uncensored" in Japan (though I'm not sure if this means both scenes are uncensored or just the Trish scene is uncensored), despite the fact that Sony's censorship policies have affected Japan to a notable extent.

-The game's patch "uncensored" it in the U.S., despite the fact that many critics of Playstation's censorship policies like to point out that their headquarters being in the U.S. supposedly contributes to their desire to censor and bring games to a U.S.-centric standard. Right now, the only major region that is not "uncensored" is Europe, meaning it doesn't make a lot of sense to attribute this to Sony.

Honestly ... does anyone really think that Sony went to Capcom and asked for the one extra scene to be censored? They are pretty harmless and are nowhere near as bad as what other major publishers can get away with. It makes even less sense when you realize that ALL platforms are censored. The way this has been spread and reported is completely false - all versions in the West have censorship, the version on PS4 just had a single more scene that was censored. And that scene depicts nearly the same exact thing as the scene that was censored on all other platforms, a naked butt. So why would Sony specifically go up to Capcom and ask for this specific scene to be censored? It just doesn't make any sense and to be honest I have a feeling that both scenes were supposed to be censored on all platforms in the West because Capcom didn't want to offend, but a mistake was made.

The funny thing is that the scene that's censored on all platforms is regarding - by far - the fan favorite female character in the DMC series. Which makes me wonder why no one is talking about if that scene is still censored or not? I guess people only want to focus on the scene that was exclusively censored on PS4 for headlines. I'll have to find out myself I suppose ... this also makes me wonder if the game was entirely uncensored in Japan, or if their Lady scene was censored too.

The left leaning sites are actually upset about this lol.

This is a step in the right direction. I was starting to feel disappointed in Sony.

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

I did tell someone to wait and see if there would be a patch like this, because this seemed more like a communication error between different divisions at Capcom to me. I would say wait and see with Europe as well before jumping the gun because there are different laws and regulations that can affect how quick some updates get approved.

You were aware that there were censored butts on Xbox and PC as well, but you think Sony went in and demanded one extra butt to be censored on PS4?
And Capcom were coincidentally already planning on censoring the same kind of scene on Xbox and Steam, even though Microsoft and Valve didn't ask them to?

Or do people think MS and Valve asked Capcom to censor one butt, and Sony asked them to censor two?

What was the thought process people had here?

Someone should fire that camera man.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

No I wasn't aware. As far as I knew only the Sony version of DMC5 was censored.

I am glad they decided a butt crack can now be handled by the gamer. Sony..... facepalm.... this shouldnt even be a thing.
