Switch doing really well without major new releases. Wonder what will happen when Pokémon launches.

PS4 and XBO down yoy as expected. Wonder how much new games and price cuts can boost them before they're replaced.

It's crazy the things MS has to do, now, to even stay in competitive range of the PS4. Even with SKUs making the XBO basically $199, it loses by 60K+ in its strongest territory.

XBO had a strong 50$ off Promo (plus a 100S off One X Fallout 76 bundle), and Switch the 35$ Gift card promo, but PS4 had neither of those.

Additionally, all the bigger games that month fizzled out apart from Apex, so not many reasons to buy a console outside of the promos.

Underestimated the PS4 and slightly overestimated the Switch; XBO almost perfect estimation.

But yeah, looks like it's going to be very hard to beat the Switch any month this year.

When we look wekly sales, Switch is around 30% for January and February, Japan is around 50% up until now, so that means that FY Q4 (Jan-Mar) will around 30-35% WW up compared to same period of last year.
Switch started this year great, and sales can only be better when strong games start launching.

At this point they probably dont care how close they get to the PS4. As long as more XBO are being sold they are happy to focus on next gen.
