It was announced with just a logo a few months back, but now we have a proper reveal
Looks like it could be the best in the series yet, and the fact it's getting a physical release, which I didn't expect, just sweetens the deal.
Day 1 buy for me; I really enjoyed the first two games, they were great just for sitting back and relaxing after a long day at work.

Not really a sweetened deal for me that it has a physical copy, but I'm happy none the less to see another sequel. I enjoyed the first 3 and 9 parchments as well.

I really liked 1 and 2, but 3 was quite a letdown - this one looks more like the first 2, so I'm somewhat optimistic about it,.
It's really great to see the series going back to the 2D style. The first two games are among my favourite puzzle platformers, but I still haven't gotten the third one. Maybe I need to finally get around to that one too.

The return to 2D gameplay would seem to be a response to criticism of Trine 3.
I hope it's more like Trine 1 than 2 personally, 1 flowed much better while 2 was too often ground to a halt by obtuse puzzles.

Same haha, Trine was one of my go-to games during Wii U's long droughts.
Day 1 purchase for me.... Now if I can just get my hands on the Switch physical copy of Trine 1-3 hmmmmmmmmmmm
