Sounds like a good opportunity to try it if I ever get the time. My battle against my backlog is progressing better than ever, but it's going to be a long war.

Yours may be bigger, but I'd say more at least 365 completely untouched games is still pretty much. Besides, it doesn't include games I've started but not finished despite intending to do so!

EDIT: Although I must admit, I didn't expect you to have that many games on Steam, the vast majority of them completely untouched... Still, my backlog is huge too!

League of legends and Dota pretty much demolished RTS. F2P is the the only way to make people try RTS again.

That is a common myth. The RTS makers demolished RTS well enough on their own.
