why I will pay $299 right now If maybe on BF this year they will lower the price or add a game?

If you really want to play Zelda or any of the upcoming games (MK8, Arms, Splatoon, FE Warriors) then you would buy it before those games comes out.

Is there still issues with the Switch stock? I haven't been following it very closely, but I've heard the system is still sold out in some places.

Yeah it's limited. The issue with this is the price. I just want to play 2 games, Mario and Zelda. I'm thinking straight-up emulating and I'll give them money according to my experience.

Except that Zelda is on the wii U. MK8 is just a remastered MK8 with battle mode, and FE Warriors will be on the N3DS.

Plus why buy it BEFORE it comes out and miss out on a chance of a bundle?

That said the first games I'm excited for are Xenoblade and Mario. So I have a long time to wait for bundles and discounts.

Well I didnt know if that person has a Wii U or not and  a 3DS. And like I said. It depends if you really want to play the games now / Before Holiday 2017 (8 months away)

Nintendo does not usually lower console prices on Black Friday/holiday time. Sometimes they'll do a BUNDLE with a game, but the odds of Nintendo dropping the Switch from $299 is insanely low this year. Maybe just maybeeee a retailer will choose to do that on their own, however that's extremely unlikely if the Switch continues selling out until that point.

No one is going to reduce the price on something if they don't have it available for you to buy it on the shelves. Obviously that's pretty far off, but with Skyrim and Mario coming out I would be surprising if mid Fall Nintendo (or retailers) have any incentive to lower the price then. Best case scenario is a holiday bundle at $299 with Mario included. Although based on how Nintendo treated the Wii U (and even the 3DS for the most part, still being almost $200), I find it unlikely

in what world are you in that ANY system that comes out has particularly good 'deals' in its first year or two? the only hope is that at the $300 price tag they throw in the Mario game during the holidays, but depending on supply avaliable that's a massive question mark.

its sold out in most retailers in the USA pretty much universally. Europe that doesn't necessarily seem the case
