Over the last few years we were all hyped for the next red dead.  But we rarely agreed on the name.  I and many others would often say,  we'd love a red dead redemption 2 and we were shot down with people saying,  no no its the third.  

Well so fucking what,  there was only one redemption and it made sense for it to be called the second.  This is a thread for the beautiful people who called it right.  Have fun graciously and modestly boasting about how you called it right.

There's nothing wrong about the name.
It being the 3rd in the series is irrelevant. It's not called Red Dead 2, therefore it's correct.
I would've prefered something like Revolution, Retribution or whatever though.

No. People said it wouldn't be called Red Dead 2.

Most thought/hoped it would be called Red Dead Revolution/Retribution but Red Dead Redemption 2 makes sense as well.

The majority also said it wouldn't be called Red Dead redemption 2. I'll call this red dead 2 in future thought just out of laziness.  Redemption is a big ass word!
