Not surprised tbh. They royally fucked up the game when they went way too greedy with their DLC nonsense. I might try it now since its F2P but we will see how active this really becomes.

I actually enjoyed the game, when I played in the beta. I still don't care for multiplayer only games. I will never pay for one. First, and last game i bought multiplayer only was Titanfall.
Guess it was inevitable.

Game didn't have enough content so the games population imploded after the initial launch rush as people got bored and asked "That's it?".
Greedy DLC didn't help.
Hopefully a free-to-play model is successful, brings new players in and allows them to build from the premise for a sequel as the idea is actually very sound.

It really was inevitable, with all the DLC that packed from the start, FTP was it's best bet, specially having in mind the userbase for this game was critically low.
I feel sorry for the people who bought it...
