After seeing all the hints that have appeared in the past about Battletoads, its clear MS/Xbox are testing the waters to see if its a worth while investment. Its pretty clear they want to make another game.

Battletoads is one of the hardest games iv ever played and one of my all time favourite NES games. Considering how good Yacht Club has done with Shovel Knight, What do you think if Yacht Club made the next Battletoad game? I personal think that would be fantastic, maybe keeping it like the orginals with a Shovel Knight feel and look but with todays innovations and oppurtunities.

Are you an old school Battletoad's fan? Where do you think the Battletoad games will lean towards and what do you think would be great to resurrect this amazing franchise?

Yacht Club make a XB1 exclusive? No thanks. I want them to have more freedom than working for MS.

It would be pretty badass for Yacht Club to make a Battletoads game. All of us who don't have an XB1 better hope it gets released on PC too :)

Battletoads is actually a beat-them-up game, while shovel knight is in the same veins as megaman, that is an action side scroller(dont know if this word exist), so they are quite diferent.Having said that, i honestly think that Yatch Club could pull it off.But I prefer they stay third party, as in dont make any exclusive deal

I am not sure if you have played the NES / Mega Drive Battletoad games. Beat-em-Up was just the core of Battletoads, however the game had many different types of gameplay modes from Beat-em-Up, Action, Racing to platforming aswell. You could say its a jack of all trades. Yacht Club will remain 3rd party but developing a MS game doesnt mean there stuck making MS games. Alot like Insomica.

I think MS should get a deal on straight away. There a talented company who seem to love the 8bit era and when it comes to 8bit games Battletoads is up there with the very best of them. Those who arent interested dont need to worry, because i am sure Yacht Club's next game will be multiplat but a Battletoad game will be epic and well worth the investment for both old school gamers and Yacht Club.

So you dont want a Battletoads game? Yacht Club has proven they can make great old school games, why would you be agasint it? Yacht Club arent brought out by MS and they can make what ever games they want but i would think YC behind a BT game will be a great combination. If you dont own the platform to play it then thats not my problem or anyone elses really.

Honestly I remember loveing the old battletoads back in the nes/snes days... i wouldnt mind seeing a new one.
Also fun to see MS pulling some of the same stunts Sony are, ei wearing shirts with characters.

I hope both Crash and Battletoads get made (and both probably already are in production), we just need solid announcements and a few trailers :)

It has nothing to do with XB1. I dont own one yet, but I will buy one sooner or later. I have three games for it

I would love another Battletoads game, but I dont think Yacht Club should be the one to make it. I would rather them make Shovel Knight 2 or a new IP than working on a MS game. I also dont trust MS or the XB1 owners to appreciate them.

I would buy an Xbox One if yacht made a battletoads game.
