Good news.

And it follows a trend of more and more Japanese publishers launching their games on PC, which is something that can only be a good thing for everybody.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Oh, I've always said that all games (minus First Party titles, ofc) should be multiplatform and release on as many platforms as possible. This trend only reinforces my opinion that this is where the industry is also going.

Is Guilty Gear Xrd considered 2D?

Yes,and with the support of the pc gamers hopefully we will see more and more Japanese games being anounced for the west.
