Nintendo has announced the launch of "Nintendo Selects" re-releasing older 3DS games, hopefully at a cheaper price.   They will launch on 16th October, and the first round of games are:

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds

Star Fox 64 3D

Nintendogs + cats

Mario Tennis Open

Yoshi's New Island

Mario Party: Island Tour

This is great news. But I'm sure there will be more games down the line. What games would you like to form part of the Selects lineup?

You know it deserves the GOTY.

I've said everything :v

I have most of the games I want on 3DS but would like to see Kid Icarus on the list so more people can become familiar (up to date) with Pit and friends.

I think Nintendo chose the right games for the first wave...
Nintendogs was a good move...
The game launched when the 3DS was not on the public's mind...
I imagine Star Fox will benefit too, abd Yoshi's Bew Island is quite hard to find in US for whatever reason...
Having fifty million 3DS's out there might do it some favors...
Same goes for Star Fox; I might pick it up for my nephews; they love Super Smash Bros, but don't quite realize that all these characters come from great games...
Heck, if the price is good I might pick Yoshi up for myself...
If they added Kirby, that would be cool, as that game is also becoming harder to find new...

Have a nice day...

Some games that could use a reprint, such as:

Ocarina of Time 3D

Star Fox 64 3D

Kid Icarus Uprising

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

[3DS] Winter Playtimes [Wii U]

I think games that have been released in the earlier half of the 3DS's life-cycle and perhaps wasn't advertised enough or are out of print, here are some I think are good:

-Ocarina of Time 3D
-Dream Drop Distance
-Kid Icarus: Uprising
-Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracle
-Star Fox 64 3D

There certainly are more, but I think these are decent choices.

Honestly only the games that are hard to find need this.  Ultra already listed those games, can't believe all 3 of those aren't in the first round...

Ocarina of Time 3D is pretty rare now, right? Surprised they didn't go with that one rather than Link Between Worlds.

Kid Icarus: Uprising for sure!
Such an amazing game, and one of the best games on the system is deserves far more sales than what it has right now.
Ocarina of Time 3D could be another one.
That in turn could lead to Majora's Mask 3D later down the road, and both games could finish with pretty strong sales.
Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon is a third one.
With a reprint of that game, it could achieve 5 million and convince Nintendo, if for some reason it hasn't already, to make it a recurring franchise! Show Luigi some love, you know!!
