Forums - Nintendo - Nindies@Home = 9 indie E3 eShop demos

Nintendo has announced the first-ever “Nindies@Home” program, a new initiative that celebrates a few independent games that are in development for the eShop. Starting today, Wii U owners can begin accessing demos from a number of smaller developers. The lineup includes Runbow, Extreme Exorcism, forma.8, Mutant Mudds Super Challenge, Soul Axiom, RIVE, Freedom Planet, Lovely Planet, and Typoman.

Those who download any of these games will be entitled to a 15 percent discount when the full versions launch later this year.

Demos can be downloaded straight from the eShop. Be sure to grab them while you can though, as the Nindies@Home program – end on June 22.

It's nice to get the actual owners more involved with E3

Maybe next time everyone will get to try all E3 demos too?

A fantastic initiative by Nintendo.

The german Twitter channel had a slightly other Image, but it should be the same games.

Good idea. Not interested in any of those sorry tho.

Very good idea, though they should do this with the games that are actually revealed.

Awesome, great idea.

I think Runbow is a winner, Forma.8 is beautifull, Rive looks badass, Freedom planet seems better than any Sonic 2D game in 2 decades and Typoman is really creative.

There is a bunch of interesting games in there.

will try those demos later and see what would fit my taste. ;)
