Do you think it should, and why?

I think so, plus the 40$ price makes it a great deal

Why wouldn't they when most of their other games also get boxed releases.  I don't think that they lose anything with it and I'm fine with what they do with most of their games having a boxed release as well as a digital release for those who find it more convenient.

I don't see a problem with it. It's at a discounted price, and the box art is adorable. You won't hear me complaining.

Yea as long as its fun and the price justifies the length of the game

Sure, why not? It's a full and legit game. Plus Nintendo needs as much software on store shelves as possible.

Exactly this. They need them boxes at retail, the more the merrier.

It should because everything should be a boxed retail release.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Yes, i think it doesn´t need an explanation, but if someones need one ... Canvas Curse was great, one of the best Ds games imo, and one of the best kirby ever, this is a sequel 10 years later with awesome hd claymation graphics, new ideas and 4 multiplayer, so the question is, why this game doesn´t deserve to be boxed? Just because it looks simple and cute? This is going to be a ton of fun for 40$ if is as good as canvas curse, and probably better than many AAA boxed at 70$.

And that box art is so CUTE i want it.

Guess I'm devil's advocate here. I think all these small, cheaper, more colorful retail releases aren't good for Nintendo's image. It's hard enough to get people to buy Wii U's without making it seem almost exclusively like a system dedicated to tiny kid-friendly games. We know better, but there are plenty of people that wouldn't be caught dead perusing that shelf at the store.
