Forums - Sales Discussion - ps3 sales adjustment..10.36m+75k=10.52?

i adjusted my ps3 ww sales thread and noticed that numbers were adjusted from 10.36m last week to 10.52m this week. thats roughly 160k difference. europe (others) sales for the week ending march 1 '08 account for 75k of the adjustment, but i have 85k unaccounted for. so i backed tracked the numbers and just in case some of you want to know, here is my findings as to the extent of the adjustments...feel free to check if i got the figures right.

good work, i wonder what this was all about.

Must have gotten broken along with the site update. Just kidding, probably just a regular readjustment of numbers. Maybe the EU's or the US's were too low. That would be pretty surprising if they were.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

I was wondering what was that change all about also, cause when the EU numbers showed up PS3 jumped from 10.36 to 10.44, when I refreshed it was at 10.52 and EU numbers risen from 68k to 75k.

Hmm, were the updates to American or EU data? Im thinking a little mix of both.

It must be one of those two -- which is impressive, isn't it? Those numbers, particularly the US figures, already represented significant improvements from last year. The fact that they were just increased around 10% more just adds further fuel to the PS3's momentum.
