Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Is wii fit u worth it?

Tagged games:

My parents have been using Wii fit then Wii fit plus for many years now. They are ok with it though my mother wishes there were more options for reps in work outs and less forced down time between excorcises.

What improvements do Wii fit U make? What flaws does it still have?

Stick with the wii versions. I'm not sure if they patched in a fix, but before every exercise (in the custom routine) they always have the demonstration which slows down the workout intensity. And you can't change the reps, so you have to pick the exercise twice if you want to do 30 lunges for example.

Wii Fit U is a muddled mess when I picked up.

well it was worth it when it was free just buying the step-meter...
if still so, then yes! step-meters are like £ 5 now.

It's not about the price of it, it's about the user experience. If there is no improvement it's not worth it.

Well it is $20(US) for the Pedometer which makes the game free since you already have all the hardware. (I'm guessing you have Wii U) So it wouldn't be that much a waste of money if you just tried it.

I guess using fitness games on Wii U is like having your fav gym always free and never crowded!

Actually I was considering buying them a Wii U for it if there were improvements over Wii fit plus.
