Forums - Microsoft Discussion - PSA: If you buy an EA Xbox One game, EA will actually pay you $1 to try EA Access for 30 days

Tagged games:

So this weekend I decided to buy a $5 one month subscription to EA Access. I want to try FIFA (already own the other games in the vault), and I wanted that 5 hour Madden trial. Better than a typical demo, this would actually allow me to test out things like online play and franchise progression. I didn't have much time to play (addicted to Diablo) so my trial didn't actually run out until today. So I went ahead and went to buy Madden 15 and of course, it's got the 10% discount knocked off for EA Access, so I paid $53 + tax.

Essentially if you buy any new EA title, why not go ahead and subscribe to this service for a month to try it out first, and then buy the game and save a buck. You get all the games in the vault (which they are never taking out apparently), plus other discounts on DLC and shit.

I thought for sure EA would somehow limit the discounts on a 30 day subscription, but nope.

Anyway just an FYI.

Lol.....

Pay me £20 or else. :P

If you're already going to get the game digitally, might as well get EA access and save the money.

EA Access is great for digital game buyers. Hope it makes its way to PS4 soon.

If you enjoy EA Sports games, you can actually save $19 on all 4 games, if you hold off on subscribing until September 8.
Madden is out, NHL on 9/9, FIFA on 9/23 and NBA Live on 10/7, for a total savings of $24 minus the subscription.

Although I would advise against buying NBA, it's a Ride to Hell-caliber awful...

Well you still need to pay for the game but if you are already going to get it it's a nice deal

LMMFAO. They should just give it up when it comes to NBA games.

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.
