I do plan to play the entire God of War series once I get Saga collection.

Already played God of War 1 and 2 on PS2 though.

Always wanted to play The Origins Collection (too bad its digital) and III the most!

Having Acension would be great but.....we'll see :O

Just played GoW 3, it's amazing! But if you've only played those on PS2, I'd go with Valkyria Chronicles. I need to get that game too!!!!!!!!!

I know you like GoW, so I say don't listen to the haters, go get Ascension, it's a really great game.

I'm still gonna get God of War Saga - just trying to decide on a companion purchase :P

Yeah, I'm leaning towards VC as well but who knows :O

 

All 4 games are available for $19.99 and less with DMC HD collection being the cheapest.

Oh... With DMC you get 3 games though right? Might be the best option :)

Valkyria Chronicles, even though I haven't played it. Ascension is a decent game, but after you've played the first three chapters is pointless, unless you really like the gameplay of the series. DMC:HDC is a collection and I really cannot see why people buy collections, unless they missed the original game(s). So buy it only if you haven't played the DMC series already.
Catherine...is a very peculiar game and i admit i didn't like/undestand it. I thought it was ridiculously boring, but that's just my opinion.

^ All of those are great games. Choose one game/genre you are in the mood want to play, and go with that. You can't go wrong with all three tbh.

Oh and I would skip GoW:Ascension. It's good, but not really essential to play.
