The game is now a week away from its 3rd (?) release date and we are still yet to see a single second of footage on it. Anyone else expecting another delay? I would not be shocked to see a rather lengthy one this time. Maybe the team porting the game is having more trouble keeping the game playable than EA/Respawn thought they would. It really doesn't make sense to hide the game anymore with software sales as frontloaded as they are.

Does anyone honestly think the game will launch in a week?

I actually expect it and am looking forward on how well the port was done. Of course it's a rather "silent" release...

Which is weird considering surely EA like to make money. Why don't they advertise to the 70 million potential customers?

... yeah yeah rhetorical question. It will be good to see the differences in quality and sales.

Hmm, pie.

I think it will release and it will do well. They probably like the perception that it's an exclusive title so press coverage will be at a minimum.

They want the X1 version to sell every possible console and then release it on the 360 at 30fps, subhd resolution and other things that are bad for an online shooter.

The game is ported by Bluepoint. Which did quite a good job with games ported from PS2 to PS3. Ico and Shadow of the Colossus for example. Both running at 1080p on PS3 (yup. Check it in Digital Foundry if you don't trust me).

I will laugh my arse off if Titanfall on X360 will run at 720p60fps, with no tearing nor frame rate drops!! ^_^

I don't get this idea that for EA it's better to promote the Xbone version over the 360. For MS it's good if the game sells consoles but EA don't get any of that money.

EA has far more potential customers on the 360 than Xbox One and if they establish a good user base on the 360 when this audience moves to the new generation of consoles whether PS4 or Xbone and Titanfall 2 releases on them, the customers that moved from 360 to PS4 or Xbone are more likely to buy the game than those who already own an Xbone and are just buying the sequal.

Because it apears that every single nexgen version of the title is seling better than the last generation version.

This didn't stop them with Battlefield 4, which is a bigger, more established IP with a lot more invested. And they even shipped that piece of shit broken and unplayable. I think a shitty 360 version would actually spur more Xbone version sales.

Under Microsoft's pressure they are probably making the game a lot worse for launch so it doesn't make the xbox one version look bad. That 50GB audio install on the pc is a utter farce.

I've been looking for info on the 360 version of titanfall and there is nothing and we are so close to launch. It will be funny if the game is locked at 30fps practically and has a resolution just below 720p and plays as well or almost as well as the xbone version.

It's not a game for me as I have an xbox 360 but no xbox live but I'm curious about it. I might pick up the pc version when it goes cheap. My PC should at least run it as well as the xbone even though its an entry level gaming model.

Still disappointed they didn't go with a single player campaign as well. Seems like an incomplete game to me. I think that is also an issue for many people. Both the xbone and pc versions have healthy metacritic commercial review ratings of 86% but user reviews for both are down to 61%. I think much of that is down to lack of content in the game. You do wonder if the commercial reviews have really thought about the lifespan of the game and lack of content when giving their final review.

There is still about 3rd of active 360 owners who don't subscribe to xbox live and for them Titanfall is a pointless purchase.
