Fable was my favourite game on the original xbox, would you still suggest picking it up even if it runs like shit? and how exactly does it run badly

I was curious about this game, have yet to play a Fable game. Was just going get the original instead of dropping $40 on this.

Well I don't regret buying it. I'm still looking forward to playing through it again.

It seems to run fine during combat, but as you run or move the camera the frame rate gets choppy. The pop up is also very noticeable.

Given this is using the Unreal Engine, I'm extremely disappointed by how poorly optimized the game is.

I was disappointed with the frame rate of Halo Anniversary, but this is much worse.

If you can get the original dirt cheap, that might be worth looking at instead. The Anniversary edition basically feels like a straight port with improved graphics.

I'd have it now if the store I tried wasn't sold out. Thanks for the warning. I'll wait for news of a patch. Releasing a low grade version and just for 360 (not X1) is really not a great start to Lionhead's life after Peter.
