Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Ryse reviews are starting to pop!!

I found 2 sites with 4 stars out of 5. IGN is one of them. (Delete if repost, thanks!)

Ryse: Son of Rome may be rough around the edges, but I enjoyed the heck out of it. Taking the mighty power of the Xbox One console and focusing it all into one man's blood-drenched quest with his trusty sword and shield is commendable, and I hope dearly to see a more polished, improved sequel.

Well, you posted links to the same review, and ign has not posted their review yet... So not sure what you are talking about.

I also suspect this review is written by somebody who hasnt even played the game, outside of maybe a demo...

Anyway, hopefully the game does review well, we will see tomorrow!

Uhm, IGN does not give reviews out of 5

How is that commendable? Wat

Not only is it not ign, but it is the same review, copy and pasted on another site!

I was confused for a bit since IGN does reviews out of 10, and when I went there just now I saw nothing. I figured after 1 PM (eastern) would be a good time to check. Not yet 1. Anyway ... wtf dude?

Why suspicious? He released it on the right date :P

But agree with the rest.

Only have to wait until tomorrow. Surprised by the high Forza ratings... so perhaps Ryse might rise above expectations (sorry) and be heading for 7's etc.

Mostly the way the reviewer seems obsessed with the animations.  Most reviewers will talk about gameplay and how fun it is, but this review sounds more like a guy that watched the game being played rather than playing it.

I think you have have to wait for atleast some of the big websites to review not some nobodys... LOL

Even more suspicious is that it's not a major website, and the embargo isn't up until tomorrow....

Making an indie game : Dead of Day!

I think the may be a spelling error in the title, is that really pop, or rather poop?

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”
