The draw distance in AC IV on ps4 reminds me of crysis... it looks that good

They both look really good to me. I can't see a huge difference, except the 1080 looks less dark. If I didn't look at them side by side, I wouldn't know there was a difference. Can't wait to play AC4!!! But I will have to wait until January, too busy now.

Definitely can tell a difference. The easiest to see is the sharpness of the shingles on the shack above his head. Reminds me of when I first got component cables for my ps2 to play God of War in 480p. Definitely creates a sharpness and greater contrast.

Sit further away. If you do that you won't notice any difference.

I saw the update so I booted the game up, without knowing whether that was the supposed 1080p patch, and my initial thought was it looked a bit clearer. Game still looks like it's 1600x900. Good game though, the only other one I really liked was AC2. It does look and play nice, even though it's only 30fps, it's a solid 30fps, and that really does make a huge difference.
