I am curious how often do people actually report others on this site.  I never even thought about it until very recently.  I have never reported a single person.  I don't find myself being offended very often nor do I care to be a nark on a rule breaker.

Do you report people? If yes, how often?  Everytime you see the rules breaking or just when it someone you don't fancy breaking the rules?

Should I be reporting people, am I do a diservice by not reporting people?  Do Mods like it when people report others or do they find it annoying and often not a good enough reason to report someone?

I report Spambots and people who are WAY out of line. But that's very rare.

Hells to the no.  In my hood, if someone did somethin' you let them be.  You don't go runnin' to no cops or no nothin'.  And, if they did somein' to you, you took care of it yourself.  If someone be playin' loud music and you go to go to work the next morning, you go over there, cut their main power and sneak right back out.  Hopefully, no one rats you out.

I haven't been here that long, but I will only report spam and really insane racist/homophobic comments (which I haven't seen). I just don't get how people get so offended over faceless people... online.

Oh come on.  This site is nothing but back and forth.  You say cats suck and 7 times out of 10 times you'll see flame wars over how dogs are El33t and how the poster is a noob.

And this goes for other sites, too.  This is a public forum.  When someone blast me or doesn't not subcribe to my ideas, I'm going fanboy on 'em.

I report people a lot actually. Not too often do I expect/want them to get a ban, but I like to let the mods know what's up. I usually write a fair amount in the report. Hahaha once I even asked a question and the mod messaged me back with an answer.

If you feel the urge to respond to someone but know you shouldn't, just report it and move on.
