I'm looking forward to this. I could never finish the original because of a bug in the game and never got around to play it again.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

Around the Network

I played and finished the first and second game. They were good Point and Click Adventures. But I doubt I will get this version. The genre is dead for me. The internet killed it for me. In the good old days I tried to solve some of those riddles over days until I found the solution. Today I would check the internet if I can't get further after a while.

Not to mention that nowadays adventure games have in game help, or points of interest light up or the character looks at them .. I still play them but they are less challenging then the old pixel hunting ones from the past

I loved The Beast Within (Gabriel Knight 2) but the pont and click genre is completely dead to me too. It's simply obsolete game mechanics.
