Just a plan to force Google Plus on us. Nobody likes it but everybody likes Youtube.

IDk I recently experienced an attack on my account on another site simply because I said something about a Sony exec that wasn't "negative" but it also wasn't positive, just a neutral statement that applies to all company execs.. Woke up to all of my comments being marked as spam and IP banned with no recourse at all.
Sometimes bullying people has nothing to do with insulting them but not letting their opinion be heard because you don't agree with it.

I imagine a lot of youtubers with agendas will simply block anyone who has an opinion they don't agree with no matter how valid. Granted some people do take things too far on Youtube but that seems like a bit too much power to allow people to silence anyone they don't want to speak.

Google+ completely wipes your Youtube profile, from the channel page to your avatar, and also removes the inbox. It's the worst thing I can remember happening to Youtube.

Watch me on YouTube!

I have a much better solution, disable cookies entirely on youtube, I don't get any comments, it doesn't have me auto signed in just because I checked my email, and the suggested videos column is populated by videos related to the video I am watching rather than videos I have seen in the past.

Obviously not an option if you like posting your own videos, but perfect for me.

Seriously? Every update to Youtube makes it worse, and this just continues it? I mean, this sounds great if we forget the Google+ thing. No more commenting for me, then, when this happens. I'm trying to stay away from social networks, not get forced to use them.

Also, the player should be fixed first. Well, its location on the page, to be more precise, but they could also undo the latest change they did to the player. There was more than enough space on the control bar for all the controls, there was no need to put all settings behind a menu. Also, grey and light grey aren't exactly intuitive selection colors, if you really must insist on using colors to indicate selection. And the position thing? The whole thing is on the left half of my monitor. Seriously, Google? Where did you get your UI designers? I want my video in the middle, not on the left half of my monitor. Thankfully there's fixes for that; fixes that you are trying to undo at every possible turn, it seems.

What a rant, as if Google was listening. It's just getting on my nerves a bit how they screw up even some basic things.

Oh trust me, I don't like even Youtube these days. Google has screwed up so much with it, every update makes it worse in some way. See my above post if you want more details. I just wish we could have something else instead of Youtube (and by something else, I mean something better).

YouTube is rapidly becoming unusable garbage. Fuck Google.

That screenshot is offensive in its utter blandness. Prepare for every comment that isn't "I LEIK UR ENSPIREING VIDEO" to be blocked.

I have an immense dislike for how they keep harassing me to use my real name from my Gmail/Google+ (the latter of which i never use) on YouTube. I only have a name there to comment occasionally anyway (and that's very, very rare)

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
