as long as they don't disable comments below their youtube videos if too many trolls are doing their daily job and throw insults on everyone, everything is fine...

i dunno.  what i do know is a griefer can easily make an otherwise greate game be complete and utter trash to play. 

xbox's reputation system, if it works well and has nothing exploitable, is one thing i am jealous about.

if you cant take the heat, get out of the kitchen. pretty simple. i hardly do any of that shit online, i usually have the mic turned off and the volume for voice chat all the way down if not disabled anyways, i hate hearing the shitty music, or breathing, or someones mom yelling at them bc they are a spoiled brat.

this hopefully might help things a little if its followed through on.

on the other hand people need to stop being such sissy bitches and learn how to not listen to some sorry asshole talking down to them and mute/block their ass.

i stay away from social networking as much as possible, and prob one of 10 people in the world with no twitter account.

Seeing as how it is subjective in nature(just like moderation on these forums), it will never really result in much change.  It does seem that M$ may have a good idea in their new system, but it will have to be proven to work.

I found that funny. Took me bad to my assistant admin days. I banned that guy and and a few of his trolling, hate-spewing friends. Users were happy because before I came along as ast. admin, no one ever had proof of what they did, which was just unbelievable to me.

I have no problem with this, because I know first hand, getting rid of those people makes the community healthier. I had a guy threaten to have me banned on PSN because he claimed I was cheating in Tekken: Revolution and that somehow, he couldn't hit me, even though it was a five round mach and he wiffed attacks left and right.

Sometimes, I wish I could take my ban hammer everywhere I went.  Sadly, I had to put it down when the admin decided he wanted to do something different.

I totally support SOE on this. Let those of us who pay money for these games not have to put up with people that soil our gaming experience.

Sounds good. Having a healthy community is very important for online games and players should be able to have a good time without having to dodge trolls left and right.

I like the reputation system MS is putting into place. Sony should implement something like that.
