I doubt it. Sakurai is not really a lazy man. He puts a great amount of effort in the games he makes. Even Brawl which I didn't like that much had really great production values.

Jeez! I just realized there is potential for "the Hunter" to appear in the next Smash Bros. as a playable character. Never thought of that before but it would make sense with Capcom and Nintendo being so close. It would give both Smash Bros. and Monster Hunter additional exposure.
