For the first time in decades months (week ending on May 4th) the Vita has push hardware sales above the 8k sales mark for the week ending on Aug.10th. Yes thats right the niche game Dragon's Crown (teh game with the bewbs) was enough to send Vita sales up 72% for the week. Dragons's Crown softwares sales were IMO better than expected totaling in at 35,373 which is more than Muramasa put up which open at only 15,299 in NA.
Of course this is VGChartz, so it obviously can be taken as 100% accurate, especially since it's a Japanese game. This proves that there is demand for PSVita when even a niche game drops. I wonder how the sales will go when we see the numbers from the week of the price drop? Another thing to note, this does not track digital sales, since Dragon's Crown is also on PSN.
