Story time. 

Pokemon Ruby in 3rd grade. Get to Groudon. Epic theme impossible on GBC plays. I pause and listen to it for a while before I can finally start to battle.

DS didn't have very advanced sound. Above GBA quality sure, but it didn't sound like that much of a leap to me. 

But now the 3DS got this MIDI to orchestrated music leap going on here. I can really hear the difference. Fire Emblem sounded awesome. (Particularly this song)

And a couple of Bravely default songs really made an impact. 

I can't wait to hear some of the themes from Pokemon with grandiose champion/legendary music. TWEWY 2 music....aww yeah. 

Bowser's Inside Story had one of the best final theme songs in any DS game, so I have high hopes for Dream Team to deliver at least one epic song.

Speaking of FE: Awakening, this is by far my favorite song. One of the best final boss theme songs I heard in a very long time.

Totally agree. Good to know Shimomura's doing Dream Team as well.

The very beginning of the first song (before the main theme begins) sounds really good. And the fourth one also sounds really good, I really like the dark tone.

 So far it sounds very promising indeed.

Fire Emblem OST is priceless

I ain't seeing anything Soriku.

Though if I had to guess this is SMTIV.
