Will PS4 and Xbox One release by November 5? That's when COD: Ghosts comes out and missing the release of that game means many will wait another year to adopt the platform. What about Black Friday? Will they release by then? Even if they don't have enough supply to meet demand, its when everyone is in the stores and having your console have a "sold out" will make your conosle look popular. Maybe they'll only release in time for Christmas? Let PS3/360 have their last big November of sales?

i bet xb1 will release same day. ps4 maybe even earlier?

They both will launch after COD and it won't matter.

No one is buying a new console to play upgraded COD. They may buy it with the new console, but they are buying that console for certain 1st party games or simply a general upgrade.

Example, I did not buy WiiU to play BLOPS2 on it, in fact I didn't buy it for any single game. But I did buy BLOPS2 along with 3 other games at WiiU launch.

PS360 will greatly dominate COD sales this year. The next-gen consoles will all be below 1m each more than likely. With the lack of any advertising for WiiU version, it'll likely sell the least still.

Think of a group of friends with some disposable income. On Call of Duty release day, don't you think they would be tempted to get the new Xbox and make the transition together?

In the uk, we've been getting COD:Ghosts on X1 5-nov-13 adverts since last month, I think that's all we need to know.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

That would be a rare occurance. Afterall, I didnt' see anything at E3 that showed me I'd have a signifanctly better experience on next-gen vs ps360 for COD.

People who pre-ordered both next gen console and next gen cod won't buy this gen cod.
I know I won't be buying this gen cod because aim geting it for the ps4
