Imagine Microsoft were to backpedal regarding Xbone's anti-consumer measures, would you trust them not to simply try again to bully/strongarm their customers once they managed to return to a strong position?

EDIT 6/19: You may stop voting now, as the question is no longer hypothetical. Before MS backpedaled, 81% said they would not trust them again.

"Well certainly with the Xbox 360, we had some challenges at the launch. Once we identified that we took control of it. We wanted to do it right by our customers. Our customers are very important to us." -Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb (10/2013). Note: RRoD was fixed with the Jasper-revision 3 years after the launch of 360

Trust is a strong word. Even trusting Nin/Sony is bold. Publically traded and multinational corporations, each with a history of blunders.....

In the end, the success of any product needs the consumer to want it and be happy. MS will have to change things to make us happy. Bottom line, exactly why Sony is doing what they are doing.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

I dont think i could. They have been very vague as to what the console can and cannot do. The only reason we got the information we needed is because everyone demanded it from them.

I wouldnt trust any particular company that wants to empty my bank account (that includes the big three).
I do however trust Sony first party devs to give me a constant stream of aaa exclusives. Hence the reason i tend to prefer Sony consoles.

Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!

Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st

As a consumer you really shouldn't trust any big corporation all they really want is your hard earned money.

no...they'd probably sneek it in somehow

No. Flip-Flopping destroys pretty much any trust I have in any company/person/etc.

Pretty clear result.
