Vita owners are very lucky. Usually when someone is doing bad they offer insane value to drum up some business.

The early adopters are the immediate benefeceries.. Long term well see how this plays out.

I just wonder... is there PS+ for japan? Also for vita in japan? haven't heard anything!

wow, i have 12 (i think) vita games and psn plus just by change is giving 4 new ones including UC:GA which was next on my buy list. i approve!

Other aspects I'd agree but don't tell me you aren't familiar with PS Plus. At least for the US this is a 6 game insant game collection, 1/2 of the PS3 offering. It will be nice to know what annual quanitity we should be expecting. I expect a decent level, maybe 1/2 of the PS3 one, so 24 games or something around there. They can always dig into PSP titles to not affect the new Vita game market. I'd guess the three full Vita titles they have now aren't being replaced for a long time.

PS Plus is not a compensation package, it's a business approach that can be leveraged for advertisement, content sales, and premium features.

But they are free. I pay $50 a year for PS+ on my PS3 and now because I own a Vita I am getting 6 free games with a new one every month. It would be like paying monthly for basic cable and then all of a sudden getting upgraded to also get internet at no extra cost. The internet is free (my payment for cable is a different service) just like the Vita games are free.

well vita is a bonus for you and me i guess but i am renting off sony for £40 a year,i paid £30 as i got a deal,i think it's a good deal but we are renting

i wish they'd let me have a movie a month or something too,that would be good,i'd pay more a year for a game/movie deal as i don't want mothlys via credit cards i prefer a one off deal with psn

there is PS+ in Japan, but the service seems to be handled quite differently - I don't see a big instant game collection, only 4 games and none of them are "full games" (well, one is Shadow of the Colossus HD)

they have many discounts for psp games though
